How to use CMT Paddles?
1. Discard the first three squirts of milk needed as these will normally have a higher level of bacteria and cells.
2. Draw foremilk from each quarter into separate cups of the four-cup plastic paddle.
3. Tilt the paddle to equalize milk quantities in the cups at about 1/2 teaspoon (3ml) each - check the line in the paddle.
4. Add 1/2 teaspoon of test reagent to each cup.
5. Swirl the paddle for about 60 seconds.
6. Tilt the paddle to check the consistency of the milk mixture.
